For the hell of it, the other thing I’ve been playing all night?
This still might be one of the best things I’ve seen on the internet in a long time. It was definitely a bright spot on an otherwise brutal week.
It’s 10 minutes of WTF, but worth it. So worth it.
Yesterday was St. Vincent and today is another one of my favorites from last year, Cults. I actually argued with someone at work about this album. They just couldn’t get it. It wasn’t anything mind-blowingly special, I admit, but it was a fun, feel-good record. I missed them when they swung through town, which is a bummer. First Ave. I think. Or maybe 7th St. Entry. Either way, missed them. So here’s the new video “You Know What I Mean”:

New video came in this month from St. Vincent. Dig it.
St. Vincent’s album Strange Mercy was one of my favorites from last year just for being such an usual and eccentric work. No one else could have made that album but her. I was hooked the second I heard “Cruel”.
And as for this? I’m just going to loop this for awhile.
